For RF shielding at the PCB level, Infratron offers custom shielding enclosures. Thanks to flexible manufacturing technologies, even complex geometries with quantities ranging from five to 5 million can be realized easily and cost-effectively.
Shielding enclosures are available either as single-piece shielding covers or as frame-and-cover constructions. In both cases, the bottom can be directly SMD-soldered to the PCB, with options for "tunnels" (for traces or components) and "feet" (THT pins for mounting) also available.
For cover constructions, various pre-designed solutions are offered, allowing customers to simply choose from the options without needing to handle technical details.
Standard materials used include tinplate or nickel-silver in various thicknesses, but other materials are also available upon request. The processing is carried out using CNC machines, stamping tools, lasers, or etching techniques, depending on technical requirements and order quantities.
