For 40 years, Infratron has been supplying card guides (PCB holders) in various designs. Until now, the latches and threaded bushings were always made of brass, which necessarily contains a small amount of lead.
This is 100% compliant with the current RoHS and REACH regulations, which allow for an exception in this case. However, it means that environmentally harmful lead has to be processed during manufacturing.
To ensure the future viability of its products, Infratron now offers completely lead-free alternatives. These are made exclusively from pure glass-fiber reinforced polyamide.
