Finger stock / metal mesh seals
1200 Knitted mesh
The EMC seal series 1200 consists of a core covered with electrically conductive wire mesh. In most cases, the EMC seals are made from foamed plastic or hollow elastomers. For EMP applications or high temperatures, a metal version is available.
The temperature resistance depends on the core material, ranging from -60°C to 220°C. These EMC seals are resistant to external influences and perform well even under challenging environmental conditions, such as in saltwater. A water-repellent version is also available.
The maximum compression with a foam core is approximately 30%, while with a hollow rubber version, it is 50%.
For high-frequency shielding, we recommend foil seals like the Amucor Shielding 6800 due to the significantly larger contact area. The product image illustrates the differences.
